Kurt is an epic guy and an epic beer trip Captain! I had the best time exploring Edinburgh, and other spots throughout Scotland, learning about (and of course tasting!) the best beer around. Kurt was very thoughtful in providing a great balance of scheduled beer tasting and activities with some solo time to do some things on your own. He really thought of everything and had all the details taken care of, so all you really have to do is show up with your Vans (or your favorite pair of comfy shoes!), have some beer, and have a good time. It’s such a small thing, but I really loved how he provided already stamped postcards, along with a few other goodies, upon our arrival. It’s the little things! If you’re looking for a laid-back trip where you can try some tasty beers (along with some good knowledge directly from brewers on how they are actually made!), then look no further than Epic Beer Trips!

With Epic Beer Trips, led by the one and only Captain Kurt, everything was taken care of allowing me to sit back and enjoy the incredible journey. From eating meat pies from a local hidden gem to drinking loads of local Scottish beer, there is something for everyone to enjoy, including plenty of free time to explore as you wish! This was an experience I will never forget.

I had an amazing time on my recent Epic Beer Trip to Scotland.  Captain Kurt and his dedicated team of “Beer Trippers”, put together a fantastic trip.  The accommodations at the BrewDog Hotel were over the top cool and the perfect base of operations.  The planned excursions & activities were a wonderful mix of the historical sites of Edinburgh, Glasgow & St. Andrews, along with amazing opportunities to engage with local Scots and even a living Scottish Rock & Roll legend from Nazareth!  To sum it up in one word…EPIC!

The Heart of Scotland trip was incredible!! Having Epic Beer Trips prepare details of what to expect regarding international travel made planning stress-free. Their agenda covered all the bases of “must-see” plus activities we didn’t even know existed but loved!

The private beer events were impressive and we wouldn’t have been able to experience those on our own. It was a nice balance of planned activities plus time to explore. The small group was a wide variety of folks with common interests – travel and beer!

Our stay at the Doghouse hotel was AWESOME. It made for a fully immersive beer trip and were very comfortable accommodations. Definitely a good value and would recommend!!

Just go back from the Heart of Scotland trip by EpicBeerTrips.com. Fantastic trip combining sight-seeing, cultural enlightenment, and Epic opportunities to taste and learn about local Scottish craft beers and beer history in general. Captain Kurt and the EpicBeerTrips.com team had all the bases covered and mixed in some unadvertised surprise experiences that made the trip extra special, epic even. I highly recommend.

The Heart of Scotland Epic Beer Trip was epic indeed! The BrewDog Doghouse Hotel is the perfect home base for beer lovers and Captain Kurt did an awesome job planning daily excursions that combined craft beer with sightseeing.  From beer school at BrewDog, fish and chips with locals in St. Andrews, and multiple private meet the brewer sessions, it is impossible to pick a favorite day of the trip. I would recommend an Epic Beer Trip to every craft beer lover!
